Textile Showcase: Jonathan Saunders 2010

I love seeing the transition from one season to the next – following are the fall 2010 and resort 2010 collections from Jonathan Saunders, who is by education a printed textile designer. That, I think, really shows through the clothes and adds a certain uniqueness to his work. His collections are playful, clean in form and interesting, which is one of my favorite combos. Apart from playing with print itself, he experiments with texture and finishing techniques.

The Jonathan Saunders FW 2010 is lovely – I added it to my illustration list. I love that he uses digital prints, but in a different way then say Basso&Brooke… It is more subtle and soft, and less in your face. Thanks for the good post!
